As mentioned before, power generators must be filled with fuel in order to operate. These relevant fuels are mainly liquids as gasoline and diesel which are the most common ones. There are also power generators running with gas-based fuels like LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) or Methane-based fuels. There are all derived from oil or natural gas which are part of fossil fuels. Their exploitation and use contribute to escalate global warming since they release a significant carbon footprint causing long term to irretrievable environmental pollution. Measures are taken in order to drastically reduce these emissions.
Thus, using power generators contribute to produce carbon dioxide (CO2), an extremely harmful and asphyxiating gas, but also carbon monoxide (CO) which is also harmful as well as nearly undetectable. All of these elements are significant cons regarding the use of power generators. In addition, they also release smokes because of fuel burn which leads to difficult use in limited, confined of restricted areas such as LEZ (Low-Emission Zone).

TYVA Energie’s portable power stations don’t require to use any fuel, therefore they are much less polluting than power generators. Lithium batteries contained inside the PowerBox and the PowerCase don’t release any smoke or smell in order to be used whether indoor or outdoor. Moreover, they are a contribution to construction sites and film sets decarbonisation among other things since they match with the measures established regarding carbon footprint. Indeed, audiovisual and cinema sectors release 1.7 million tons of CO2 every year according to a study lead in 2020 by Ecoprod. It is an association dedicated to the awareness of those sectors regarding their environmental impact. It is mainly caused by the use of energy intensive equipment or by rooted habits in contradiction with eco-friendly regulations.
*The organizational footprint of greenhouse gas includes direct emissions of production, post-production, distribution, screening, programing and broadcasting activities.
Concerning the construction sector, it would release 23% of French greenhouse gas emissions on its own. Equipment transport is mainly responsible as well as the building site itself. The use of alternatives to power generators and thermal engines seems to be a solution to reduce the carbon footprint. Thus, Moduloo Ex portable power stations represent an eco-friendly approach since they don’t produce any greenhouse gas emission besides delivering a low carbon footprint.
